Throughout these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Glare 9 Ltd trading as My Father's Cravat.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using our software products ("Products"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not purchase or use our Products.

3. Nature of Products

  • All Products sold via My Father's Cravat are digital audio software plugins (including VST, VST3, AU or other formats where specified).
  • No physical goods are supplied.
  • All Products are delivered electronically via download.

4. Licence Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the Product for personal or commercial music production purposes.

You may:

  • Install the Product on devices you own or control
  • Use the Product in commercial recordings

You may not:

  • Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the Product
  • Share licence keys
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Product (except where permitted by law)
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices

All intellectual property rights remain with Glare 9 Ltd.

5. System Requirements & Compatibility

It is your responsibility to ensure that your system meets the stated minimum requirements before purchasing.

Compatibility information is provided on each Product page.

We do not guarantee compatibility with:

  • Unsupported operating systems
  • Unsupported DAWs
  • Future OS updates
  • Third-party hardware or software configurations not listed

6. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital downloads, refunds are handled as follows:

  • You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Refunds may be refused where a licence key has been activated or where there is evidence of full use of the Product.
  • Refunds will be granted if the Product fails to install or function on a supported system and our support team cannot resolve the issue.
  • Refund decisions are made at our reasonable discretion.

7. Updates and Support

We may provide updates, bug fixes, or improvements at our discretion.

We do not guarantee:

  • Lifetime updates
  • Compatibility with future operating system releases
  • Ongoing development beyond the current version

Support is provided via email only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our Products are provided "as is".
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the Product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

Customers agree to contact us directly to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in licence termination.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate licence access where these Terms are breached.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Products constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
