Salon No. 4 is an Ambient Emporium from My Father's Cravat, offering four distinct spaces for the discerning Sonic Flâneur.
Rather than presenting an endless corridor of anonymous rooms, Salon No. 4 provides four carefully dressed ambient rooms, each with its own purpose, temperament, and musical charm.
The Rooms
- The Walnut Room A warm, wood-panelled room. Intimate, polished, and gently enclosed. It adds warmth, body, and natural depth without overwhelming the source. Ideal for guitar, piano, voice, keys, and any part that needs to feel seated in a proper room rather than left standing in the hallway.
- Murmuration An airy, ethereal long-tail reverb. Designed for aerial glow, width, and slow atmospheric bloom. It gives notes a sense of ascent, letting them drift and dissolve into a spacious, luminous tail. Particularly suited to ambient guitar, pads, piano, synths, and reflective melodic lines.
- Gallery A large plate-style reverb with per-stage control. Built on a 32-line Feedback Delay Network, using a Walsh-Hadamard Transform as the feedback mixing matrix. The result is a dense, expansive, plate-like reverb with scale and poise. Per-stage control allows the shape, bloom, and tail to be tailored with precision.
- Pavilion A tremolo-infused vintage-style reverb. Combines reverb with gentle movement, adding pulse, wobble, and old-world charm. Especially effective on guitar, organ, electric piano, slow chords, and parts that benefit from rhythmic glister and a little vintage mischief.

Salon No. 4 is not a neutral utility reverb.
It is a small collection of musical spaces with personality: warm timber, high air, grand reflective plate, and tremolo-lit ambience.
