Dress the balance, keep the gesture simple

Silk Foulard begins with the immediacy of a classic tilt EQ: turn one control darker or brighter around a chosen tonal home. It then lets the discerning Sonic Flâneur choose how that movement is cut and draped.

Five Foulard Patterns turn the same Fold and Anchor gesture into distinct, coordinated tonal trajectories. From a familiar tilt to warmth, air, articulation or a more fluid response, the complexity remains inside the Pattern while the instrument stays direct and playable.

Key Features

  • Five Foulard Patterns Classic, Drape, Bloom, Breeze and Lustre each give Fold and Anchor a different musical trajectory, from familiar tonal balance to expressive warmth, transient air and high-frequency polish.
  • Fold × Anchor simplicity Fold moves from dark to bright while Anchor sets the tonal home between 200 Hz and 4 kHz. Every Pattern is genuinely neutral at the centre.
  • Two independent colour preamps Place either Snuff Box-derived preamp before or after the EQ, then tailor its drive and presence for restrained polish or a more spirited weave.
  • Mustard Pots embellishment Four Anchor-related Mustard Pots add Body, Centre, Detail and Air/Guard. Marmalade boosts or cuts the selected Pots, while Horseradish adds band-selective harmonic colour.
  • Twenty-two factory starting points Curated presets for guitar, voice, drums, mix and mastering sit alongside saveable user presets and a live EQ Shape display.
