The Grand Vortice is a 16-stage tapped stereo phaser for macOS, Windows and Linux, available as VST3 and as AU on macOS. Each all-pass stage becomes an individually mixable spatial tap, with independent level, pan, auto-pan and phase-rate controls.

A conventional phaser may be content to sweep politely through the room. The Grand Vortice is rather more ambitious. Sound travels through sixteen all-pass stages, while every stage offers its own audible tap to be placed, balanced and set in motion across the stereo field.
Begin with the familiar movement of a classic cascade, or invite all sixteen poles into proceedings. Stage macros make swift work of choosing the scale of the affair, while Rate Spread, Stage Spread and Stereo Phase take a single sweep from restrained shimmer to an intricately fanned vortex.
Each pole has its own gain, pan, auto-pan, polarity and phase-rate controls. Link the pole rates to the global movement for composure, or let them run freely for more unruly sound design. Automatic tap compensation keeps the assembled spectacle civilised, even when every pole is speaking at once.
